“Get in the habit of having good habits.” 

This was a repeated mantra I heard throughout my residency while learning to take care of others during my training to become a urologist. HolSpan understands the importance of having good daily rituals/routines that guide the way we do things in life. Strong guiding principles are also important to anchor the way we live.

Much the same way a parent is advised to place an oxygen mask onto their child in the event of unexpected trouble while flying on an airplane, we must often learn to care for ourselves first before we can care for others in an impactful way on the journey of life. Our established habits are what grounds how we show up in the world.
